Mrs. Crosby’s 2^nd grade class loves to read! We have a “Reading Tree” that is covered with leaves that each child earns by reading at home. At the end of each grading period we take down the leaves and count them all. Prizes are given to the students who have read the most each nine weeks.

Mrs. Crosby’s 2^nd grade class loves math! Students enjoy learning with manipulatives and games. One of their favorites is playing “Math Around the World.” Addition and subtraction facts are practiced in a variety of fun ways.

Mrs. Crosby’s 2^nd grade class loves to write! Our class enjoys the creative writing process. They practice using writing techniques learned from reading and examining different books and author’s studies.

Mrs. Crosby’s 2^nd grade class is in room 8.  It’s great to be in 8 !!
